Korie shares how her PEBB benefits give her peace of mind that her children are covered even outside of Washington.

"I have been a single mom of three for many years. Even when I was married, one of the largest stressors for me was making sure my children had medical coverage. After starting work with HCA, my autistic spectrum son started on a very expensive medication to help stay focused in school. If I didn't have my state insurance, it wouldn't have been possible for him to have it as it was very costly. In addition to this, my kids would periodically visit their dad in Alaska. My insurance covers them in Alaska and it was needed. When my daughter moved out and to Montana for school she was covered there too. I now have one child living their own lives in each of these states and until they are 26 years old they are covered in Washington, Alaska, and Montana under my insurance. Peace of mind for mom!!"
